We won! Voters registration to be extended

In a tweet by Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Spokeperson James Jimenez that the extension for the voters registration for the 2022 National and Local Election was unanimously approved.

The extension will be from 11 Oct 2021 until 30 Oct 2021 (except Saturdays) during office hours starting from 08:00 a. m. to 05:00 p. m. and that all registration services will be offered (registration, reactivation, and transfer).

On the case of 30 Oct 2021 being a Saturday, Jimenez clarified that there will be an exemption for this day, being the last day of the extended period.

Last 22 Sep 2021, Ang Silab joined the call for the extension of the voters registration, calling other civil societies and organizations to make the same call and demand.
