The Ang Silab Community through the Department for Operations invites everyone to join the Recitation of the Living Rosary as celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.
With the theme, "Hope Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic", the event focuses on the spiritual spectrum that no matter how hard it is, prayers are essential components of our daily life. Through this view, the terror and anxiety brought to us by the COVID-19 pandemic is being bearable as we are being comforted by and through prayer.
The Holy Rosary is a traditional Marian prayer of Catholics and the month of October is dedicated for its promotion and celebration as established by Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical, Supremi Apostolatus Officio (1883).
On October 2002, St. John Paul the Great, established the addition of the Luminous Mysteries as complement to the Holy Rosary in his Apostolic Letter, Rosarium Virginis Mariae (2002).
The event will broadcasted live via the official Facebook page and Youtube channel of the organization.
